Dashboards in Cano Analytics are your command center for understanding what’s happening across your product in real time. Each dashboard is a fully customizable canvas where you combine charts, metric cards, and filters to answer the questions that matter most to your team — from high-level KPIs to granular user behavior breakdowns. Whether you’re monitoring a product launch or sharing weekly metrics with stakeholders, dashboards give you a single place to visualize, explore, and act on your data.

Dashboard Anatomy

Understanding the layout of a Cano dashboard helps you navigate and configure them faster. The header runs across the top of every dashboard and contains three key controls:
  • Dashboard name — click the name at any time to rename the dashboard inline.
  • Date range picker — sets a global date range that overrides the default range on all charts. Individual charts can still be pinned to their own ranges if needed.
  • Refresh button — manually triggers a data refresh across all charts. The timestamp next to the button shows when data was last fetched.

Chart Grid

The chart grid is the main canvas below the header. Charts snap to an invisible grid, making it easy to align them into clean rows and columns. You can drag charts to reorder them, resize them by dragging their bottom-right corner, and delete or edit them from the three-dot menu on each chart card.

Filter Bar

The filter bar sits between the header and the chart grid. Filters applied here are scoped to the entire dashboard — for example, filtering by country = US will restrict every chart on the page to events from US users. Filters can be stacked and toggled on or off without permanently changing the underlying chart configuration.
