Data sources are external databases and SaaS tools you connect to Cano Analytics so you can query them alongside your product event data. Instead of jumping between your data warehouse, your CRM, and your analytics dashboard, you get a single unified view — enabling you to combine revenue metrics from Stripe, customer records from Salesforce, and raw event streams all in one place.

Categories of Data Sources

Cano supports two broad categories of data sources:

Databases & Warehouses

Connect directly to your existing database or cloud data warehouse. Cano queries your data in place, so you stay in control of where your data lives. Supported options include PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, and ClickHouse.

SaaS Integrations

Pull in data from the third-party tools your business already runs on. Cano syncs records on a configurable schedule and makes them available alongside your event data in dashboards and queries. Supported options include Stripe, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, and Shopify.

Why Connect Data Sources?

Connecting external data sources unlocks a unified view of your business. Rather than switching tools to cross-reference product usage with revenue or CRM data, you can:
  • Combine warehouse metrics with product events — for example, join your Snowflake revenue table with Cano’s funnel events to see which acquisition channels drive the highest LTV.
  • Build cross-source dashboards — surface Stripe subscription data next to in-app conversion rates on a single chart.
  • Query everything with one interface — use Cano’s query builder or SQL editor against any connected source without writing separate integrations.
